Symposium guests—Richard Powers, Rodney Brooks and Anne Foerst—will be the most exciting visitors to Salt Lake City since the Olympic athletes. But there are many reasons to attend the whole conference. Informal Short Take sessions will permit you to interact with the lecturers, demonstrators and guest panelists. The movie Fast Cheap and Out of Control will be screened. Interactive demonstrations of scientific projects, such as robots and programming apparatuses, will be available at the Marriott Library and across campus.

Invention is the domain where science and literature meet. From April 25 through April 27, the Utah Symposium in Science and Literature will allow you to inhabit that domain.
